Bubby Chicken & Fish Corner

You will find us on Cooper Road in Amritsar, not too far from Crystal Chowk. This part of the city is always full of people looking for something to eat, and we have been a part of that for a while. We mostly cook chicken and fish, which we fry up right where people can see. The smell of the spices usually drifts down the street. It is a small shop, so most people just stand around or take their food to go. We don't have a big dining hall or fancy waiters. It is mostly about the large iron vats of oil and the marinated pieces of meat waiting to be cooked. Amritsar is a city that loves its food, so we have to stay on our toes. We get our supplies fresh from the market every morning. The evening is when we really get busy, especially when the weather is a bit chilly and people want something hot. We have a few regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know exactly what they want before they even reach the counter. We don't bother with much decoration; the focus is always on the stove. It is a loud, busy corner of the city, and we like it that way. If you are walking near Crystal Chowk, you will probably hear the sizzle from our pans before you even see the shop sign.
