Southern Coir Mills

Southern Coir Mills is located in S.N. Puram P.O., right opposite S. N. College. This is where we have been for quite some time now. Being across from the college means there are always students walking around, which keeps the area feeling quite lively. The mill itself is a practical place. We don’t have any fancy decorations or corporate offices. It’s mostly just the equipment and the space we need for the coir. Southern Coir Mills is a straightforward operation. We handle the materials and get them ready to go out. The smell of the coir is something you get used to very quickly when you work here every day. It’s a very honest kind of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest company in the area. We just want to do our job well and keep things running smoothly. The staff here are mostly local people from around S.N. Puram. We know each other's families and what’s happening in the neighborhood. It feels more like a community than a factory sometimes. We don’t use any complicated words to describe what we do. If someone asks, we just say we work at the coir mill opposite the college. It’s a simple life and the work is steady. We don't need much more than that to be satisfied at the end of the day. Our location makes us easy to find for anyone who happens to be in the area.
