Flooratex

You can find us at Flooratex, located in Prp Towres in Kayamkulam, down in Alleppey district. We’ve been around this area for a while, working with all sorts of mats and flooring stuff. The office is in a decent building, but inside it’s mostly just samples of coir and rubber scattered around. It smells like earth and processed fibre most of the time. We aren’t really into the high-tech side of things; we just focus on the products that people in the area and beyond actually use. The staff is small, just a handful of us who know the trade. Kayamkulam is a busy place, and we get a lot of local walk-ins asking about prices or wanting to see the texture of a rug. We don't have any fancy brochures. If you want to know about a product, we just pull it out and show you. The fans in the office hum all day to keep the humidity down. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit behind because we’re busy loading trucks out back. It’s a practical business. We don't pretend to be more than we are. We just supply the floors and mats that people need. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around, but it’s good work. Most of us have lived in Alleppey our whole lives, so we know how to handle the local weather and how it affects the materials.
