Ameena Enterprises (P) Ltd. operates from a simple building in a spot that feels very connected to the local area. There’s a lot of green around us, and the air usually feels quite heavy and humid. Our workspace isn't anything fancy. It’s a practical building designed for getting the job done. We have a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of logbooks. We don't use much fancy technology besides what is absolutely necessary. Most of the people here have lived in Chandiroor their whole lives. We know each other’s families and what’s happening in the village. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere, though we stay busy enough. The fans are always spinning to keep the air moving. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address on the door. It’s a place where we handle our daily business without any extra frills. Sometimes the rain is so loud on the roof that we have to stop talking for a minute. We have our coffee together in the morning and then everyone gets to their station.
