Capital Beverages is right on Shivaji Marg, specifically at number 70. If you know where the Moti Nagar Police Station is, we are just opposite that. Being near the station means there is always something happening on the road. We deal with a lot of bottles and crates here. The sound of glass clinking is basically the background noise of our lives. It’s a heavy job, lifting the cases off the trucks and stacking them up in the warehouse area. The floor is concrete and gets pretty cold in the winter, but in the summer, the whole place feels like an oven. We have a small office area where we handle the bills and the schedules, but most of the action happens out on the loading dock. The traffic on Shivaji Marg can be a real pain during rush hour, so we try to get our main deliveries out early in the morning. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in a jam and we just have to wait around drinking tea until they show up. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at this location for a while now and everyone knows the building with the big doors. We keep things pretty straightforward and don't spend much time on decorations. As long as the drinks are cold and the trucks are moving, we are doing alright. There is a small tea stall nearby that we visit way too often. It's just a regular life here.
