Barista

Our little spot is located at Rz-35A in the Sai Baba Enclave area of Najafgarh. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but people find us. Most of the time, the air smells like roasted coffee beans, which is nice. We aren't a big, cold chain store; this Barista feels more like a local hangout. We have a few staff members who have been here since the start. They know how the regulars like their drinks. We don't spend money on big posters or radio ads. We just open the doors in the morning and start brewing. The furniture isn't brand new, but it’s comfortable enough for a quick sit-down. Najafgarh can be a busy, dusty place, so it’s good to have a corner where things are a bit calmer. We deal with the usual problems, like the espresso machine acting up or running out of milk on a busy Tuesday. We just handle it as it comes. It’s a simple life here. We make the coffee, clean the cups, and talk to the people who stop by. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make a decent cup of tea or coffee for the neighborhood. Sometimes it gets really loud when a big group comes in, but we like the energy. It beats sitting in a quiet office all day long. We just want to keep the place running and serve the next customer.
