Cafe Coffee Day

We are located at number 30 in Sultan Pur Mazra, which is right in the heart of the Nangloi area in Delhi. If you walk down the street, you can usually smell the coffee even before you see the sign on the door. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of shops and people moving around, so we get a real mix of customers. Some people come in just to escape the sun for a bit, and others stay for a long time working on their laptops. We spend a lot of time cleaning the tables and making sure the milk is fresh. The machines make a lot of noise, especially when we are steaming the milk for a latte. Our staff is mostly young guys from the local area who are trying to earn a living. We have our regulars who come in every single morning at the same time and order the same thing. We don't have a corporate script; we just say hello and ask what they want to drink today. Sometimes the 110041 area gets really loud with all the traffic outside, but we try to keep the music playing inside to drown it out. It is just a simple shop where we make coffee and serve some snacks. We don't think too much about it, we just keep the beans grinding and the cups clean for the next person who walks through the door. It’s a lot of standing, but we’re used to it.
