You can find us over at A-9/B in Rohtash Nagar, which is part of Mahavir Enclave Part 2. Newport Coffee Co. isn’t some big flashy café on a main road. We’re tucked away near the post office in Uttam Nagar. Our space is mostly about the coffee and the work that goes into it. We spend a lot of our time dealing with bags of beans and trying to keep the place smelling decent. It’s a small operation, so you’ll usually find one or two of us doing everything from roasting to packing. The office part is just a desk in the corner with a computer that’s a bit old. We aren't trying to be the most famous coffee brand in the world. We just like making good coffee for people who live around New Delhi 110059. Sometimes the delivery guy gets lost in the lanes around Mahavir Enclave, and we have to go out to the street to find him. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have any corporate training or big manuals. We just learned as we went along. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving boxes around, but that’s fine with us. We’ve been here for a bit and know the post office staff and the neighbors pretty well. It’s a quiet kind of life most days, just focusing on the coffee and making sure the orders go out to the right houses without any fancy talk.
