Caffe Coffee Day

You can find us at B-28 in Mohan Garden, right in Uttam Nagar. It’s a busy spot and there’s always something going on outside on the street. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of the grinder and people talking over their cups. We spend a lot of time cleaning tables and making sure the milk is fresh and the beans are ready. It’s not a huge place, but we have enough chairs for people to sit for a bit and relax. The regulars come in at the same time every day, and we usually know what they want before they even say it. We have a small team here and we all chip in with everything, from mopping the floor to making the coffee. It gets pretty loud when the college kids come in or when the afternoon rush hits. We don’t use any corporate scripts; we just say hello and get to work. Sometimes the machine acts up or we run out of a certain snack, but we manage. It’s just a regular coffee shop in a busy part of Delhi. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a place to grab a drink and sit down for a minute. The walls have a few posters and the lighting is okay. It's a simple setup and we like it that way because it feels more like a local hangout. We stay open pretty late, so we see the neighborhood change from morning commuters to the late-night crowd.
