Keeva Lounge And Bar is located at Nai Sarak 1/A. It’s a bit of a different vibe compared to the shops further down the street. We usually start getting things ready in the late afternoon. There is a lot of glass cleaning involved because fingerprints show up on everything under those lights. The shelves behind the bar are filled with bottles that I have to organize almost every day. It gets quite loud in here once the music starts playing, especially on weekends when people have some time off. The entrance on Nai Sarak is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Inside, the chairs are heavy and the floors are dark. We spend a lot of time just checking the inventory and making sure the kitchen has what it needs for the evening. It’s a lot of standing on your feet for hours. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up and we have to get someone to look at it while we’re trying to set up. It’s not always glamorous like people think. There is a lot of mopping and clearing away empty glasses involved in the job. The staff mostly just hangs out in the back until the first few customers walk in. Then it's just a steady flow of orders until we close the doors late at night. Sometimes the street outside is so busy that deliveries have to park a block away.
