Our shop is located in Rajouri Garden, specifically Shop No-108 in Block G. We are right on Major Sudesh Kumar Marg, which is always packed with people. Being near Atul Chaat Corner means there is always a crowd outside our door. Chatar Patar Food Pvt Ltd. is a busy place where we handle a lot of snack items and food prep. The kitchen is small and it gets very hot in the summer. We are constantly moving around each other to get things done. It’s not a quiet job. You can hear the traffic and the people shouting in the market all day long. We start our day by cleaning the counters and checking the supplies. The shelves are always full of containers. We don't have a big seating area, so most people just grab their stuff and go. It’s a lot of fast-paced work. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we have to use flashlights to find things in the back. We've become friends with the other shopkeepers on the block. We often share tea in the afternoons when there’s a small gap in the rush. It’s a typical Delhi market life. We don't have a fancy office or a corporate setup. We just focus on the food and the customers standing at the counter. It's messy and loud, but it's where we work every single day.
