About Cafe Cruise – Food & Beverages in West Delhi
The sun hits the sign around noon every day. We're over here in Rajouri Garden, tucked into that U-G-17 spot. It’s mostly just us trying to keep the place tidy while people come in and out. Sometimes the music is a bit loud because the speakers are old, but nobody seems to mind much. We spend a lot of time just wiping down the tables and checking the fridge. The street outside is always noisy with cars and people shopping, so it feels different once you step inside. It’s not a huge place. You can see the kitchen from where you sit, and you can hear the machines running most of the time. My cousin helps out on the weekends when things get a bit more hectic. We usually start early, around nine, just getting things ready and making sure there’s enough milk for the day. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost looking for the unit number, so we have to stand outside and wave them down. It’s just a normal spot. We’ve been here for a while now, watching the shops around us change owners every few years. The floor has a few scratches from moving the chairs around so much. Usually, by five in the evening, the lights go on and it feels a bit more cozy. We don't do anything fancy, just keep the lights on and the doors open for whoever walks in from the main market.
