Cafe Coffee Day

We’re the Cafe Coffee Day on Shivaji Marg in Rajouri Garden. It’s a pretty lively spot because of all the markets and shops around here. The shop is usually filled with people taking a break from shopping or waiting to meet friends. We have a lot of bags left under tables that we have to keep an eye on for safety. The staff here is mostly young people. We talk a lot while we work to make the time go by a bit faster. Sometimes the music playing is a bit too loud, and we have to turn it down when someone complains. We try to keep the place looking okay, but it gets dusty fast with the main road right there. Shivaji Marg is always under construction or has something going on, so there's always noise coming from outside. We don't think much about being part of a big chain, we just focus on the people coming through the door. Some days are long, especially when it’s a holiday and the mall nearby is packed. We get a lot of groups who stay for hours just talking and using the space. We don't really mind, as long as things don't get too crazy. The coffee machine has its moods, but we’ve learned how to handle it over time. It’s just a normal part of the day. We’re not trying to be anything special, just a place in Rajouri Garden to sit.
