You can find us over at D-136 on Jail Road in Fateh Nagar. If you know New Delhi, you know this road is almost always packed with cars and people looking for furniture or a bite to eat. Our spot isn't anything revolutionary; it’s just a place where people can sit down for a bit. The chairs are comfortable enough, though some have a few marks on them from years of use. We see all sorts of people coming in. Some are students with books spread out everywhere, and others are just folks taking a break from the heat. The air conditioner hums in the background, trying its best against the Delhi summer. We aren't trying to be the most stylish place in the city. We just make the coffee and clear the tables when people leave. Sometimes the music is a little too loud, or we run out of a specific snack, but that’s just how a busy shop goes. The staff here has been around for a while, so we know the regulars who come in every afternoon. It’s a bit noisy because of the traffic on Jail Road, but you get used to it. We keep things simple and don’t bother with anything too formal. It’s just a local hangout in Fateh Nagar where you can get out of the sun and sit for a while without anyone bothering you.
