Roopadevi Science Pu College

If you head down Solapur Bypass Road in Bijapur, you’ll find Roopadevi Science Pu College. We are situated right there in the Bijapur Ho area. It’s a practical location for students coming in from different parts of Karnataka. The college focuses on science subjects because that’s what the local students usually ask for. We have labs for the practical work, though they are quite basic. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular structure along the road. We try to keep the schedules on time so everyone knows where they need to be. It gets a bit dusty being near the bypass road, but we deal with it. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been teaching for a long time. We don't put out big glossy brochures. Most people find out about us because their older siblings or cousins came here before. We have enough benches and light in the rooms for the students to get through their syllabus. It’s a place for studying, plain and simple. We don't have any big flashy events or anything like that. Just regular classes and lab sessions every week. If you’re passing through the 586101 area, you’ll see our sign. We are just here doing our bit for the students in this part of town. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the science curriculum, but we manage to keep the daily routine going.
