Amruthvani Public School Kondaguli

We are located in Kondaguli, right on the Kondaguli Tilgul Road in the Bijapur district. It’s a rural setting, so there’s a lot of open land and trees around the school area. The building is a single-story structure with a long corridor connecting all the rooms. Because it’s a public school in a smaller place, we have kids coming in from several nearby villages. Some of them come by the local bus and others are dropped off on motorbikes. The classrooms are quite large and they have big windows to let in the natural light. We don't have air conditioning, so we rely on the breeze coming through the fields. There’s a lot of red dust that blows in during the dry season, so we spend a bit of time sweeping the floors. We have a small area out front where we do the morning prayers and some exercises. The desks are simple and sometimes they wobble, so we have to fix them with a bit of folded paper. The staff room is just a corner of the main office with a few plastic chairs. We keep all the student records in big metal trunks. Life here follows the farming seasons a bit, and you can see the tractors passing by on the Tilgul Road while we are teaching. It’s a basic school for the local children who need a place to learn nearby. Nothing fancy, just the essentials.
