Expert Public School

You will find Expert Public School sitting in the Ksrtc Colony area if you head down Hathini Road in Bijapur. It has been sitting in this spot for a good while now. Bijapur is an old place with a lot of history, and our school is just a small, quiet part of the modern side of the town. The building itself isn't anything extraordinary to look at, but it does the job we need it to do. We have kids coming in from all over the colony and the nearby residential streets. In the rainy season, the road out front gets a bit muddy, but the kids don't seem to mind it much. We have wooden desks inside that have seen a lot of use over the many years. Some of them even have names carved into the corners from students who left a long time ago. We don't try to be something we aren't. It's just a local school for local families. The teachers here mostly live in this same part of town, so they know the parents from the market or the bus stand. It’s a real community thing. Mornings are always loud with the school bell and everyone rushing around to get to their seats before the first class. By the time the afternoon sun is high, it gets a bit quieter inside the hallways. We focus on getting through the textbooks and making sure the kids understand what’s being taught. We just open the doors in the morning and do the day's work. It’s a bit dusty and a bit noisy sometimes, but it’s our school and we’ve been here long enough that everyone knows the way.
