We set up our shop at No1, Mangalam Ganesh Nagar, right on the Ariyalur Main Road. If you are looking for the Golden Temple, we are directly opposite to it. We spend our days dealing with mosaic and paving tiles here at Sri Om Muruga Mosaic & Paving Tiles. It’s heavy work, moving those stacks around all day. My hands are usually covered in dust by the time I go home. We have a few guys who help with the loading and the cutting. It’s not a quiet business, there is always the sound of tiles being moved or the saw running. We see a lot of people who are building their first homes or fixing up their yards. It’s nice to talk to them and see what they are planning. Ariyalur is a busy place and being on the main road means we get a lot of walk-ins. We don't have a fancy showroom, just the tiles laid out so people can see what they’re getting. Sometimes the rain slows us down because we can’t keep everything dry, but we make do. We don't try to sell anyone on things they don't need. We just show them what we have in stock. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us on our feet from morning until the sun goes down. We've been here for a good while and the temple makes it easy for people to find us.
