Palar Granites

Palar Granites is located over at 10/1, Munjurpet Road. We’re right near the Sanatorium Post area, which is pretty easy to find once you get onto the main road. It’s mostly just a yard where we keep the stone slabs and handle the orders. Working with granite is heavy work, so the place is always a bit dusty and noisy with the loading and unloading. We’ve been at this address for a good bit of time. It isn't a shiny office or anything like that. It’s a workspace. We spend most of our morning checking the stock and making sure everything is where it should be for the day's deliveries. Sometimes the trucks get delayed or the weather makes things a bit messy, but we manage. People come by to look at the different colors and patterns of the stone we have sitting out. We don't really have a sales pitch. We just show what’s available in the yard and tell them the price. It's a straightforward business. Most of the folks who come here are building houses nearby or doing some renovations. We stay busy with the local demand. The sun gets pretty hot out on the road, but we’re used to it by now. Just a local spot doing what we know how to do with stone. Nothing more to it really. We just keep the yard running and try to stay on top of the work.
