Shree Granite

We are located at 19 2nd East Main Road in Gandhi Nagar. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty busy with people moving around. Shree Granite is basically a yard full of heavy stone slabs. Every morning we start by washing down the granite so people can actually see the colors and patterns under all the road dust. It is wet work and our boots are always damp. We have some heavy machinery for lifting the slabs because they are far too heavy for a couple of guys to move on their own. The noise of the stone cutters can be pretty loud throughout the day. We do not have a polished sales pitch. We just show people what we have in the yard and let them decide. Sometimes we have a nice piece of black granite, and other days it is mostly greys and pinks. It depends on what comes in from the quarries. Gandhi Nagar is a good spot for us, even if parking can be a bit of a nightmare during the middle of the day. We have been here through many seasons, watching the buildings go up all around us. It is a tough business because the materials are so heavy and difficult to handle, but we have gotten used to the grind of it after all these years.
