Sai Balaji Marble & Granite

Our shop is right at No. 65 Al Swamy Nagar. You can't miss us because we are right in front of Chariji Maharaj School here in Solinghur. We deal with marbles and granites every single day. It’s a lot of lifting and carrying. We have various slabs leaning against the walls. Some are from nearby and some come from further away. The school kids walk past every morning and afternoon, so it stays lively around here. We usually start early, before the heat gets too bad. It's just a regular shop where we keep our stock and talk to customers about what they want for their homes. Most people in the area know us. We don’t do much advertising. People just see the stone out front and stop their bikes or cars. Sometimes the dust from the marble gets everywhere, but that is part of the job. We try to keep the place organized, though with heavy stone, it’s not always easy. We have been in this spot for a good bit of time. If someone needs a piece for a countertop or a small bathroom shelf, we show them what we have in the back. It is a simple setup. We don't use big machines for everything; a lot of it is just manual labor. We like being part of this neighborhood. It's quiet except for the school bells and our work. Sometimes we help load the stone into small vans ourselves. It is just a normal day for us.
