Santosh Steel Industries

You have to go behind Dadra Garden to find us. Santosh Steel Industries is situated right at S.N.-357/3 and 357/2/1. It’s an industrial area, so don’t expect anything pretty. There is a lot of noise from the machines and the smell of cut metal is always in the air. We’ve been working with steel here for quite some time. The garden nearby is a nice contrast to all the heavy stuff we deal with every day. Our building is basically a large workshop with a small office tucked into the corner. We spend most of our time out on the floor, making sure the steel is being handled correctly. It’s a sweaty, loud job, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't really have a sales pitch or a fancy brochure. People usually find us because they need something specific made from steel, and we just get to it. The floor is usually covered in scraps, but we sweep it up at the end of every shift. We’ve got a couple of old fans that try their best to keep us cool, but they don't do much in the summer. It’s a basic operation. We show up early, do the manual labor, and make sure the deliveries are ready for the trucks. It’s hard work, but there’s a sense of satisfaction when the day is over.
