Gayatri Steel Pipes

Our shop is Gayatri Steel Pipes, located at Plot No. 292, Shop No. 15. We are right opposite the Patel Weigh Bridge near Sardar Chowk in the 40 Shed Area of Gidc, Vapi. It’s a good spot because a lot of trucks pass by the weigh bridge every day. We mainly keep stock of different sizes of steel pipes. If you need a specific diameter or length, we probably have it sitting in the back. The shop is small and filled with stacks of metal. It can get a bit dusty because of all the traffic in Vapi. We spend most of our time unloading trucks or helping customers load pipes onto their tempos. It’s physical work. We don't have a website or a marketing person. Most of our customers are local contractors or factory owners who just drop by when they run out of materials. The fan in the shop barely keeps us cool in April, but we are used to it. My brother and I run the place. We keep a handwritten ledger for most of our sales. It’s how we’ve always done it. Sometimes the steel prices go up and down, which makes things tricky, but we just try to keep enough stock on hand. If you’re looking for the place, just look for the weigh bridge, and you’ll see our sign right across from it. We've been in this spot for years and know most of the neighbors.
