Sanjay Steel Fabricators

Sanjay Steel Fabricators operates out of Plot No. 321/11 in the 40 Shed Area of the Vapi GIDC. We’ve been working with steel for a long time in this same spot. The shed is where we do all the cutting, bending, and welding. It’s loud because of the grinders and the sound of steel beams being moved around. Vapi is a hot place, and inside the shed, it gets even hotter during the summer, but that’s just part of the job for us. We have a few guys who are really good with a welding torch and know how to read a drawing. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy office work; most of our time is spent out on the floor with the materials. People come to us when they need frames made or pieces of steel cut to specific sizes for their own projects. The 40 Shed Area is full of businesses like ours, so there’s always a lot of movement and noise around. We just keep our heads down and focus on the steel. Sometimes we have a lot of scrap metal piled up in the corner before the truck comes to take it away. It’s basic, honest work. We don’t use any big words to describe it. We just take the raw steel and turn it into whatever the customer asked for that week. It's a living and we've been doing it a while now.
