Bhagwati Metals

Bhagwati Metals is situated at Plot No-20 in the Dwarkesh Complex, right on Silvassa Road in Chanod. It is a pretty active area with a lot of movement throughout the week. Our space in the complex is where we keep all the metal stock and the tools we use for our daily work. It is not a very formal environment here. We mostly wear old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. The office part is just a small desk in the corner where we keep our bills and a few pens. Most of the action happens on the main floor. We spend our time moving heavy pieces around and making sure everything is counted right. Being on Silvassa Road means we get a lot of dust from the passing trucks, so we are always cleaning off the surfaces. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy. There’s just a couple of us who know how to handle the metal. We have been here in Chanod long enough to know the local rhythms. We open up the shutters every morning and stay until the sun goes down. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We don't use big words or have long meetings. If someone comes in, we just talk to them directly and see what they need. It is a simple operation at Plot 20, and we like keeping it that way.
