Girdhar Steel

We are located right in the middle of Sowcarpet on Mint Street at number 214. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded and busy it gets with all the shops and people moving around at all hours. Our place, Girdhar Steel, is basically just a lot of metal and noise for most of the day. We deal with various steel products and it is definitely not a very clean or quiet job. There is always the smell of metal in the air and the constant sound of heavy things being moved around or loaded onto trucks parked outside. The shop floor is usually covered in bits of scrap or dust from the materials. We have been here long enough that we do not really notice the chaos of the street outside anymore. It is a very practical sort of business. We do not have a lobby or a waiting room or anything fancy like that. You just walk in and we talk about what kind of steel you are looking for. Most of our day is spent checking the inventory or talking to delivery drivers who are trying to navigate the very narrow streets around here. It can be a real headache getting a truck in and out without blocking everyone else. We just focus on getting the orders right and keeping things as organized as we can in such a small, busy space. It is just a regular local business trying to keep up.
