Galva Decopart Pvt. Ltd. is found at 1702/A on the Industrial Area Road in Phase 3, GIDC, Vapi. Vapi is a very industrial city, and it is almost always hot and humid here. Our factory is part of that landscape. We do a lot of decorative parts and galvanizing work for different industries. The floor is huge and it is filled with the smell of metal and chemicals. We have a lot of workers coming in for their shifts, so there is always someone around even late at night. The machines are loud and they generate a lot of heat. I spend most of my time walking between the small office and the production line. We have some old desks in the corner where we keep the records. It's not a pretty place, but it's where the work gets done. The road outside is always full of big trucks carrying goods to the highway. Sometimes the power goes out and we all have to just sit and wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just the reality of working in an industrial zone like GIDC. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Our name is just painted on the front gate. We’ve been here for years, through the ups and downs of the local economy. It’s hard work, but we are used to it by now.
