You’ll find Welcomcafe Cambay inside the Welcom Hotel on RC Dutt Road in the Alkapuri area of Vadodara. Alkapuri is a busy part of the city, and RC Dutt Road always has a lot of movement. We are right in the middle of it all. The cafe is where we spend most of our time, serving coffee and meals throughout the day. We have people coming in for business meetings, families having a meal, or guests from the hotel just looking for a snack. We don't use any corporate talk here. We are just a group of people working together to keep the cafe running smoothly. The morning shift is always the busiest with breakfast, and then it settles into a steady pace for the rest of the day. We spend a lot of time checking the tables, making sure the kitchen has what it needs, and keeping the place clean. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and moving around. We know a lot of the local business people who come in regularly from the offices around Alkapuri. We don't try to be anything we’re not; it’s just a cafe where you can get something to eat or drink. We keep the atmosphere simple and focus on the work in front of us. It’s a steady job in a busy part of Vadodara, and we just try to do it right every single day, from the first cup of coffee to the last dinner plate we serve.
