Our kitchen is located at B 15 in the Shreeji Market on Harni Road. We are pretty close to the Nageshwar Mahadev Temple, so there is always a lot of activity around here. Catering is a tough business because it involves so much planning and heavy lifting. We spend most of our time in the back prep area, getting ingredients ready for whatever event we have lined up next. Whether it is a small gathering or a larger party, the work is mostly the same. You spend a lot of time on your feet, chopping vegetables and watching over large pots. We have been in the 390022 area for a long time and have handled all sorts of requests. The Shreeji Market gets quite busy during the day with people coming and going. Our staff knows how to move quickly when an order needs to get out the door. We do not have a fancy storefront because most of our work happens at other people's venues, but this is where it all starts. It is often hot in the kitchen, especially during the summer months in Vadodara, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We take care of our own equipment and make sure the vans are loaded properly before we head out. It is just plain, hard work that keeps us going every day.
