Charcoal Dosa

We are on the 1st floor of the S Square building on Subhanpura Main Road. Being here in Vadodara, we get a lot of local traffic from the Subhanpura area. The name Charcoal Dosa tells you exactly what we are doing here. It is a bit different from the usual dosa shops you see on the street corners. We have been in this building for a while now. The space is a bit small, but it is enough for a few tables and the kitchen area. We do not have any fancy decorations or a big entrance to the shop. You just come up the stairs and we are right there. The 390007 zip code is a busy part of the city. We see a lot of families coming in on Sunday evenings for a meal. During the week, it is mostly people picking up something on their way home from work. We handle everything ourselves, from taking the orders to cleaning the tables when people leave. It is a lot of work but we stay at it every day. Sometimes the wait is a bit long when the stove is full of orders. We do not really have a big marketing plan for the place. People just hear about us from their neighbors or see the sign on the main road. It is just a straightforward spot to get a dosa that is made a bit differently. (249 words)
