Swagat

We’ve been here at Ejipura Main Road for a bit now, sitting right on the 2nd floor. It’s funny because some people miss us the first time they walk by, but once you find the stairs and get up here, it’s pretty straightforward. We go by Swagat, and mostly it’s just us doing the daily work to keep things moving. Vadodara is busy, especially this part of town, so there is always noise from the traffic coming through the windows. It isn’t a fancy place, just a regular spot where we spend most of our daylight hours. The walls have a few marks and the furniture is just what we could get, but it works for us. Usually, someone is making tea in the corner while we handle whatever needs doing for the day. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know how the place runs. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to look out at the road below. We’ve seen the shops around us change names over the years while we just stay here on the 2nd floor. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building, but we’re used to it. People stop in, stay a while, and then head back down to the main road. It’s just a normal life for us here in Vadodara, doing what we do every day without much fuss.
