Shree Ram Farsan & Tumtum Mart

If you’re ever waiting for the bus near the Vrundavan stop on Waghodia Road, you’ve probably seen our sign at Shree Ram Farsan & Tumtum Mart. We are tucked into the Siddharth Complex at G/8. The morning starts early for us because the snacks need to be ready before the first crowd arrives. It gets pretty busy around here with people heading to work or school. We spend most of our time frying things up and bagging them for the shelves. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit cramped when the delivery guys come with more flour and oil. We try to keep the glass counters clean, but with so many hands touching them all day, it’s a constant task. The smell of hot oil and spices is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We aren't trying to be some big supermarket chain. This is just a local spot in Kengeri Satellite Town where you can grab something salty or sweet to get you through the day. Sometimes we run out of the popular stuff by late afternoon, and that’s just how it goes. We do our best to keep everything stocked up. It’s mostly just us chatting with the regulars while we weigh out their orders on the scale.
