We're based over in Sayajigunj, which is a place that always feels alive. Tulsi Meals started because we just wanted to do something local. Our kitchen isn't huge, but it's where we spend most of our time. There’s always the smell of spices in the air and the sound of pots clanking. It gets pretty hot in there during the afternoons, especially when the stoves are all going. We aren't some big food factory. It's just a few of us making sure things are ready on time. Sayajigunj is a good spot because there are always people moving about. We’ve got regular customers who stop by, and we know their names and what they like. That’s the best part of being a local business. We don't have a fancy dining room with velvet chairs or anything. It's practical and a bit worn down in places, but it's clean and we do our best. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just cook and serve. Some days we run out of things earlier than expected, and other days we have plenty left over. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a small place like this. We don’t mind the long hours because we enjoy the work and the people we see every day.
