Royal Catering Services is based in Manjalpur, right here in Vadodara. Our kitchen is located in Gayatri Krupa Society, which is near the Kabir Temple. It’s not a big restaurant where you sit down to eat; it’s where we prep all the food for the events we handle. We spend most of our mornings getting fresh vegetables and starting the big pots for whatever function is happening that day. It’s hot and sweaty work, but we’ve been doing it for years now. We don't have a fancy menu with weird names, just good local food that people in Manjalpur like to eat. Sometimes we are catering for a small house party and other times it’s a big wedding lunch. We don't have a big sales team, just a few cooks and helpers who know their way around a kitchen. Most people find us because they ate our food at a neighbor's place. We just focus on getting the salt and spices right and making sure there’s enough for everyone. The society where we are is pretty quiet, but our kitchen is always bustling. We don’t do any big advertising. If you live near Kabir Temple, you’ve probably smelled the cooking. We just keep our heads down and do the work, day in and day out.
