Patiala House

Patiala House is located in Pratap Nagar, right on 10th C Cross. It’s a busy little spot, especially when the lunch crowd starts to show up. We have a kitchen that stays pretty hot, and the noise of the pans is constant. We don’t have much in the way of fancy decor. The tables and chairs are just basic wood and metal. We focus more on the cooking than on how the walls look. Most of us have been working here for years, so we have a rhythm. One person chops, another handles the stove, and someone else deals with the people at the front. 10th C Cross is a narrow street, so it gets crowded quickly. We often see the same faces every single day. It’s nice to know what someone wants to eat before they even sit down. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. We just open the doors and get to work. Sometimes we run out of ingredients and have to send someone running to the market. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us. Pratap Nagar has its own energy, and we feel like a part of it. We’re just here to provide a meal and keep the place running for another day. It's honest work and we're used to the long hours. We don't ask for much, just a busy day and happy customers who keep coming back.
