Patel Catering Services

We operate Patel Catering Services out of our place at 2 Sikkanagar Society in Alkapuri. We’re situated right across from the Sardar Naug Atithi Gruh, which is a landmark most people in the area recognize. Catering is hard work, there’s no way around it. Our days usually start really early in the morning when we’re getting the ingredients ready and the stoves going. There’s a lot of chopping, stirring, and packing involved before anything even leaves our doors. It’s a messy business sometimes, with flour on the floor and the smell of spices everywhere, but that’s just how a working kitchen is. We handle a lot of local events, mostly small stuff around Alkapuri, but sometimes bigger ones too. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s mostly just us and a few helpers who have been with us for years. We know the neighborhood well and have seen many families grow up. It’s nice when we see the same faces at different functions. We focus on making sure the food is cooked right and arrives on time. Sometimes the van gets stuck in traffic or a burner acts up, but we manage to get it sorted. It’s just about getting the job done so the event goes on like it should. We’re just a local crew doing our thing every day, trying to make sure nobody goes home hungry. It’s a tiring job but we are used to the long hours and the heat of the kitchen.
