Nirmal Caterers

We are over at Akshar Apartments, M/2/14. Nirmal Caterers has been our family’s main thing for quite a few years now. It started small, just helping out some friends, and then it turned into a real business. The apartment isn't huge, so we have to stay organized with our supplies and storage. Mostly, we do vegetarian food because that’s what people around here usually ask for. It gets busy during the wedding season, and sometimes we don't get much sleep, but that's how the catering world is. We don't have a big staff, just a few reliable people who have been with us for a long time. They know how I like things done in the kitchen. We don't really bother with social media or fancy pictures of food. If the food is good, people talk, and that's how we get more work from month to month. The kitchen can get a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big prep, but we clean it up every night before we head home for some sleep. It's a lot of lifting heavy bags of flour and rice, which keeps us tired but it's good work. We just try to be honest about what we can do and what we can't. If a date is already full, it's full. We don't like taking on more than we can handle. That's just the way it goes here and we prefer it that way.
