Layza Food Court

R C Dutt Road gets really crowded, especially around the Deccan Gymkhana Road 1 area. Layza Food Court is right in the middle of all that noise and movement. We’ve got different sections for different kinds of food because everyone wants something different for lunch or dinner. One person wants something heavy, while another just wants a quick snack. It can get pretty chaotic in the kitchen when the rush starts around one o'clock. We try to keep up with the orders, but sometimes things take a little longer than they should when the place is full. The floors get dirty pretty fast with so many people walking in and out from the dusty street. We’re constantly mopping and clearing away plates from the tables. It’s not a quiet place, that’s for sure. You hear the sounds of the road and the clinking of spoons all day long. The staff is mostly just local guys who know the neighborhood well. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and you get used to the fast pace of R C Dutt Road. Some days are better than others, depending on the weather. When it rains, the whole place fills up because everyone is looking for some cover. We don’t have any big speeches about what we do. We just make the food and hope people find a place to sit down. It’s just a busy food court on a busy road. Most of the time we’re just focusing on the next order.
