La Bella Pizzaas

If you're in Karelibaug, you might have seen us near Panchkuva. We are up on the first floor at FF101. The place is called La Bella Pizzaas. It’s not a huge restaurant, just a small space where we have the oven and a few tables. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up, so we don't get as many random people as the shops on the ground. We spend a lot of our time messing around with dough and flour. The kitchen gets very hot, especially during the dinner rush when the oven has been on for hours. We don't have a corporate headquarters or a big manager. It’s just us making pizzas. Sometimes the crust isn't perfectly round, but that’s because we do it by hand. We get a lot of young people coming in because of the colleges nearby. We try to keep things simple. We don't have a fancy menu with a hundred items. We just make what we know how to make. The floor usually has a bit of flour on it by nine o'clock. We clean it up at the end of the night and do it all again the next day. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat, but it is what we do. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything. Just a local pizza spot in Karelibaug.
