Kingdom The Food Plaza

Down at Nalanda Enclave in Fatehgunj, we’ve got Kingdom The Food Plaza. It’s a bigger space than some of the other shops around here, which means we have a lot more to keep track of. We have different sections for different types of food, so the kitchen is always a bit of a chaotic place with several things happening at once. We opened up here because the area has a lot of energy, and there are always people moving about. The tables get filled up quickly in the afternoons. We spend a lot of time just moving chairs around and clearing plates. It’s not a quiet place, there is always the sound of forks hitting plates and people talking over their meals. We’ve got some staff who have been with us since we started, and we all just try to stay on top of the orders. The menu is a bit long, which probably makes it harder for us, but people seem to like having choices. Sometimes we have to tell people we are out of something if the delivery didn't come in, but that's part of the business. It’s a lot of work to keep a place this size running smoothly every day of the week. We just focus on getting the food out and making sure the floor is swept at the end of the night. It gets noisy when the ceiling fans are on full blast during the heat.
