Just Mexican

We are over at S Square Complex in the Subhanpura area of Vadodara. It’s right across from Panchratna and pretty near the Ganga Jamuna Hospital. If you are in Ellora Park, we aren’t far at all. We decided to do Mexican food because it seemed like something different for the neighborhood. It’s not a huge place, just a few tables where people can sit down. We spend a lot of time making the salsas and getting the beans ready. It’s just a few of us working here, so sometimes when it gets busy, you might have to wait a minute. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We aren't trying to be a high-end place. It’s more of a spot where you can just grab a taco and go. We have a lot of young people coming in from the nearby colleges. The kitchen is always a bit noisy with the chopping and the fans going. We have been in Subhanpura for a couple of years now. It’s a good spot with a lot of foot traffic. We don't have any big corporate backing, it’s just a local venture. We do our own cleaning and our own shopping. It’s a lot of work, but seeing people enjoy the food makes it worth the long hours. We usually close up late after the dinner crowd thins out. It's just what we do. It's a job.
