We started this small spot near Krishna Vatika Marg because people here like a quick snack after a long day. It’s mostly just us keeping the place clean and making sure the tamarind water is cold enough. Every evening gets really busy around five. We don't do anything fancy, just the regular stuff folks in Santkawnar Colony expect when they walk by. Sometimes we run out of the spicy water early if the crowd is bigger than we thought. It’s a lot of work prep-wise, chopping onions and boiling potatoes every single morning in the small kitchen. My hands usually smell like mint and coriander by noon, which is just part of the job. We’ve been at this address for a while now and the neighbors all know us by name. It isn't a big fancy restaurant with air conditioning, just a place to stand and eat while you talk. People bring their kids here after school and we try to keep the pace up so nobody has to wait too long in the sun. The street gets loud around six o'clock with all the scooters passing by. We use the same recipe we've had since we first opened the stall. Nothing has changed much with the spice mix, and that’s how the locals seem to like it. We see the same faces every day, which makes the work feel a bit easier. It is just a simple life here on the corner for us.
