Gravy Wali Foods

This is basically a small food business we run out of Block Number 11, Flat 141 in Parishram Park. We are right on the Gorwa ITI Road in Vadodara. It’s a residential colony, so it doesn’t feel like a big commercial kitchen at all. We are mostly focused on making gravies and home-style dishes for people in the 390016 area. The kitchen is where we spend all our time. Since it’s a flat, things can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of orders going out. You can usually smell the spices all the way down the hallway of the block. We started this because we wanted to do something local in Gorwa. People from the ITI road and the nearby flats often get their meals from us. We don't have a dining hall or anything like that; it’s more about the food getting prepared and sent out. The counters are always covered in onions, tomatoes, and containers. We do all the chopping and cooking ourselves. It’s hard work and the kitchen gets very hot, especially in the summer months here in Vadodara. We just focus on getting the flavors right for the daily specials. There isn't any fancy packaging or big signs outside. It’s just a regular flat where we cook a lot of food for the neighborhood. We keep our delivery guys busy going back and forth through Parishram Park all day long.
