Chunghat

Chunghat is our little place on Panigate Road. To be more specific, we are in the Mandvi area, inside the Shree Ojus Society on Koldongri Road No 1. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but it’s easy to find once you are in the neighborhood. Mandvi has so much history and the streets are always full of life. Our spot in the society is a bit more tucked away, which is nice when the main roads get too loud. We’ve been here for a long time and the building has that comfortable, lived-in feel. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the desk in the corner wobbles if you lean on it too hard, but it’s our space. We don't have any big slogans or brochures. We’re just local people working in a local area. Most of our day is spent handling the usual tasks and chatting with the neighbors who walk by. The air in Mandvi always feels busy, like there is always something happening just around the corner. We like being part of that fabric. We don't try to be something we’re not. We’re just Chunghat, located right here on Koldongri Road, doing what we’ve always done for the community around us. It is a simple life and we like the routine of opening the door every morning to see what the day brings.
