The Best Choice

We are located at 19 Lukman Marg in the Bhoiwara area. The shop is called The Best Choice, which is a big name for a neighborhood place, but we like it. It’s a typical local shop where we try to have a bit of everything that someone might need in a hurry. The street outside is narrow and can get quite clogged up with bikes and delivery carts. We spend a lot of time just keeping the inventory straight. It’s easy to lose track of small items when they’re tucked away in drawers or on the back of a shelf. We don’t have a fancy computer system; we mostly just remember where everything is or we look for it until we find it. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to close up and do it. Most of our customers are people who live right around the corner. They come in for a chat as much as they do for shopping. We have a small radio that plays in the background, mostly just for some noise during the quiet hours in the afternoon. It’s a steady kind of life, and we know most of the families around Lukman Marg by name. We just open up in the morning, keep the place going, and try to be helpful to whoever stops in.
