We are located at 119-120 in Bapu Bazar. If you know the market, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. Our shop is no different. We have toys hanging from the ceiling and piled up on the floor. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. Kids love it, though. They come in and their eyes go wide seeing all the cars and dolls. We also have a section for gifts, like wall hangings and small showpieces. Bapu Bazar is a great place to be because there's always something happening outside. We open the shutters early and usually don't close until late evening when the market starts to quiet down. The shop has been here for years, and we’ve seen the street change a lot. My father started this and now I run it with some help. It’s a lot of dusting because the toys catch a lot of it. We don't have a computer for billing, we just use a paper pad and a pen. It’s faster that way when there’s a line of people. Sometimes the light flickers in the back room where we keep the extra stock, but we know our way around. It’s a busy, noisy, happy kind of place. You might have to squeeze past a crate of plastic balls to get to the counter, but that’s just how it is here. We like the energy of the bazaar and seeing the kids smile at the toys. It makes the long hours worth it.
