About Susa Crockery & Gift Corner – Gifts in Udaipur
We've been at Fatehpura Chouraha for a while now, right near the Shiv Shakti Gas station. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. People come in looking for plates or bowls, maybe a gift for a wedding or a birthday. We keep a lot of crockery on the shelves, some of it is plain and some has patterns. It gets a bit dusty sometimes because of the road outside, but we try to keep it clean. Sometimes a customer spends an hour just looking at mugs. That's fine by us. My nephew helps out on weekends when it gets crowded. We don't have fancy lights or anything, just normal bulbs so you can see what you are buying. Most of the stuff we sell is just things people actually use in their kitchens every day. If you need a gift, we have those little corners with decorative items too. It’s a small shop, number 41, so it’s easy to miss if you aren't looking. We usually open up around ten in the morning. Sometimes we stay late if someone is still browsing. It’s just how things go here at Susa Crockery. We don't do much advertising, mostly just people walking by from the gas agency or the chouraha. The shelves are packed pretty tight, so you have to be careful not to knock things over with your bag. It’s a bit cramped but we have a lot of different stuff for such a small place. We are just a local spot for local folks.
