Shree Kisna Flower Decoration

Our place is Shree Kisna Flower Decoration, and we are tucked behind Ashwini Bazar at 21 Dholi Bawari. It’s in the Suthawara area, which is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. The smell of flowers is the first thing you notice when you get close. We spend a lot of time with cold water and stems, so our hands are almost always wet. It’s not a clean office job; there are leaves and broken petals on the floor most of the day. We have to get up very early, before the sun is even thinking about coming up, to get the fresh stock from the market. It’s a lot of work to get the garlands and decorations ready for weddings or temple events. The shop is usually a bit of a chaotic mess with buckets everywhere and people coming in to check on their orders for the evening. Ashwini Bazar is always loud, but our little corner feels a bit different because of the greenery and the scents. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture, just sturdy tables where we can work the wires and the thread. It’s hard on the back, but seeing the finished displays makes it alright. We’ve been doing this in Dholi Bawari for quite some time now. We just try to get the flowers out on time and keep them looking fresh.
