My Choice Gift & Shringar Palace

Our shop is right across from the Roadways Depot on Sajjan Garh Road, near Dudhia Ganesh. It's a handy spot because people waiting for buses often wander in to kill time. We sell a lot of shringar items—you know, bangles, bindis, and all those little things for getting ready. Then we have the gift section too. It’s a bit of a mix. Sometimes a lady comes in for a specific shade of lipstick and stays to look at the photo frames. The traffic outside is always noisy with the buses coming and going, but inside it’s okay. We’ve got mirrors all along one wall so people can try on the jewelry. It’s not a fancy palace despite the name, just a regular shop with a lot of stock. My sister helps me manage the cosmetics because she knows more about the brands than I do. We have these big glass counters that we have to wipe down every morning because of the dust from the road. People from the nearby villages often stop here before heading home on the bus. We keep things affordable because that's what people around here need. It’s a bit packed in here, especially on festival days when everyone wants new bangles. We just try to keep everything organized so we can find the right size quickly. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us moving. We enjoy the rush of the depot crowds and the people who tell us stories about where they are traveling to.
