Indian Gems & Jewellery

We are right here on the ground floor of the Parmatma Complex. It’s a busy spot on Shakti Nagar Main Road. Most days start early because there is always something to clean or move around in the displays. Indian Gems & Jewellery has been around for a while now. We spend a lot of time looking at stones and fixing up necklaces. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we can barely hear ourselves talking to the people who walk in. It’s just how things are on this road. We have a small staff and we mostly just focus on what’s in front of us. Some customers come in looking for something specific for a wedding, and others just want to see what’s new. We don’t have fancy chairs or anything. It’s a practical space. We keep the counters wiped down and make sure everything is where it should be. Working with jewelry is mostly about having steady hands and good light. The sunlight hits the front window in the afternoon and makes everything look bright for a bit. We like that part of the day. It’s not always easy keeping up with everything but we manage. People know where to find us. Just look for the sign near the main entrance of the complex. We’re usually here until late evening. It’s just us doing our job every day, nothing more than that really. It's a steady way to live, even if the floor gets a bit scuffed from the boots.
